Unai Emery reacts after Arsenal's defeat against Wolves

Arsenal will be looking to avoid three defeats on the spin when they take on Leicester City at the King Power.

Unai Emery’s side were abject in midweek against Wolves, and their quest for a top four spot in the Premier League is no longer in their own hands.

The Gunners are in fifth, a point behind Chelsea in fourth – they are still in the Europa League though, and play Valencia on Thursday in the semi-finals.

Leicester were controversially held to a draw at West Ham last week, and lost 1-0 against Newcastle in their last home fixture; Brendan Rodgers’ men are in 10th, a point off Everton in ninth.

The reverse fixture in October saw a man-of the-match performance from Mesut Ozil guide Arsenal to a 3-1 victory at The Emirates.

Prediction… Leicester 1-0 Arsenal

Off the back of two defeats to Crystal Palace and Wolves, this fixture is similarly troublesome for an Arsenal side whose away form has seriously damaged their top-four hopes.

Surprising defeats away from home to sides such as Southampton, West Ham and Everton over the course of the season have been in stark contrast to impressive wins at home against the likes of Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester United.

Leicester, meanwhile, have been impressive since Brendan Rodgers took charge at the beginning of March. Since that defeat to Watford, they’ve won four in six and are set to finish in the top half of the table.

In the game at The Emirates earlier this season, Leicester dominated the first half before Mesut Ozil inspired an Arsenal comeback. This time round, Leicester are likely to prove more resilient on their home turf. It’ll be tight, as Unai Emery and Arsenal fans alike will demand a response after their wretched display at Wolves, but Leicester will nick it. 1-0.
