This weekend kicks off with an in-form Harry Kane looking to continue his single-handed destruction of all in his path with Tottenham Hotspur away at newly-promoted Huddersfield Town.

Spurs are playing with a freedom and intensity away from home that they are so far failing to match at Wembley and the Terriers, despite their fine start to the season and good defensive record, will be aware of this.

Huddersfield have nine points from six games thus far but now face a run of playing the top teams in the division with Manchester United and Liverpool to follow in the next three games after Spurs’ visit.

What times does it start?

The game kicks off at 12.30pm on Saturday 30 September at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Where can I watch it?

The match will be broadcast on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event with coverage starting at 11.30am or you can alternatively follow The Independent’s live blog.

It’s a big game for?

Dele Alli. The England midfield has so far failed to hit the heights of last season and has been overtaken by Christian Eriksen has Spurs’ chief operator. However, with Eriksen under the weather this week there is a chance he will be absent leaving Alli to be tasked with supplying Kane up front – something he proved last season he is more than capable of doing.

Player to watch?

Harry Kane. Who else?

8 min: Huddersfield are looking lively here. Davinson Sanchez and Eric Dier are forced to scramble as Laurent Depoitre breaks forward.

GOAL! Huddersfield 0 Tottenham 1 (Kane)

Could it have been anyone else? Slightly against the run of play, Spurs clear from the back and Kane finds himself in acres of space in the right channel, bears down on goal and finishes coolly past Jonas Lossl.

12 mins: A high boot from Kieran Trippier on Rajiv van la Parra sees Huddersfield win a free kick on the half-way line. While certainly not in Sadio Mane territory, the Spurs man was perhaps unlucky to escape without a yellow.

GOAL! Huddersfield 0 Tottenham 2 (Davies)

Some fine one-touch football sees Christian Eriksen nearly through one on one, but the Dane doesn't quite have the pace to breakthrough. But as Chris Lowe recovers and tackles him, the ball ricochets to Ben Davies over on the left side of the box and the Welshman finishes with ease past Jonas Lossl.

19 mins: Penalty shout for Huddersfield as Elias Kachunga goes down under pressure from Davinson Sanchez. There was little effort from the Spurs man to win the ball but Kachunga has perhaps gone down a little easily.

20 mins: Harry Kane has a glorious opportunity to add a third for Spurs as Jonas Lossl dwells on the ball for too long and then miskicks it under pressure. But as Kane picks up the ball, he goes for the shot from a tight angle when he should have passed to Davies or Eriksen who are both screaming for it in space. It's end to end stuff now.

WHAT A GOAL! Huddersfield 0 Tottenham 3 (Kane)

Harry Kane is unstoppable at the moment and he's scored a delightful goal here, cutting in from the right and curling the ball into the top left corner with his left foot. Delightful.

28 mins: It's hard to say the scoreline reflects the performance of the respective sides so far but Spurs have been truly clinical in front of goal. Huddersfield, who are happy to knock the ball around and go forward, just haven't quite managed to open a clear opportunity. Can a corner change things?

29 mins: ...no. Mooy plays it short to Kichunga and then curls it towards the far post but it's far too close to Hugo Lloris and the Spurs keeper collects with ease.

31 mins: Spurs cut the Huddersfield defence open and it could so easily have been a fourth. A one-two between Eriksen and Alli, followed by a delightful turn from the Englishman sees him one-on-one with Lossl, He toe pokes it towards the far corner and deflects wide off the post. Very close.
