Chelsea star Eden Hazard has said that his crucial goal in the 1-0 victory against Manchester United has been his favourite moment of a brilliant season.

The Belgian was named the PFA Player of the Year on Sunday after a stunning season in which he played the starring role for a team who have led for pretty much the whole campaign.

The 24-year-old has pointed to his strike at Stamford Bridge against Louis van Gaal's team as his pick of the highlights.

"The goal last week against Man United," he answered when asked.

"Because it is always good to score in the big games and United were close to Chelsea. We took the three points, and this was important."

Hazard added that it was "good" to win the PFA gong but that winning the title, which Chelsea will do if they beat Leicester on Wednesday and Crystal Palace on Saturday, is more important.

"I just want to say thank you to the players who voted for me. It's a good opportunity to give more. It's always good to win an individual trophy, but the most important thing is to win the league this season.

"I hope I can win a lot of trophies, but the most important thing is to win the league."

Hazard also said that his relationship with Jose Mourinho has been key in his development.

"We have a good relationship. Jose lets me play. We talk sometimes, and when I'm on the pitch I know what I have to do, and this is most important."
