A late Mile Jedinak goal resulted in an impressive 3-1 win for Crystal Palace and another tragic visit for Liverpool in Selhurst Park.

The Reds started strong with Rickie Lambert scoring his first Premier League goal for his new team in just two minutes after kick off.

But the Eagles retaliated with a goal by Dwight Gayle who picked the ball up after Yannick Bolasie’s shot rattled the Liverpool post.

Joe Ledley’s second half goal started to reverse the tide and Palace’s skipper converted a free kick 25 years out to seal a great victory.

Neil Warnock’s side picked up their third win of the season and brought back some bad memories to the visitors who lost the title in the same ground last season with a 3-3 draw.
