Leicester manager Claude Puel is facing the sack and has “lost everyone” in the dressing room, according to reports.

Ahead of a tough Christmas schedule, the pressure is mounting for the Frenchman with his Leicester side struggling for points and form.

The Foxes face Chelsea, Manchester United and Cardiff City over the next 10 days, and it’s reported the festive period is likely to determine Puel’s future at the club.

According to the Daily Mail, Puel has “lost everyone” everyone in the dressing room with his relationship with his players and staff at an all-time low. This follows rising complaints over his selection and style of play.

Star striker Jamie Vardy has already voiced his concerns, saying on Friday that Puel’s approach doesn’t suit his style of play. “Does it? No. But is that down to me to adapt to it? Yes,” he said. “It does get a bit frustrating but we are transitioning into a different style of play.”

Leicester vice-chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, known as Top, is now set to make the final call on the former Southampton boss.

The Mail adds that Puel has cut an isolated figure at the club in recent weeks, choosing to decline the advice of colleagues regarding training performances and fitness issues.

The Leicester boss fought back from the brink of dismissal at the end of last season, overseeing a 3-1 win over Arsenal, but there’s now a growing sense that Puel’s time at the King Power is finally up.
