Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has handed Premier League debuts to Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Eric Bailly for the opening weekend trip to Bournemouth.

The Portuguese is without world-record signing Paul Pogba after the 13-year-old was suspended by the Football Association for offences committed in the Copa Italia while with Juventus last term.

Wayne Rooney and Anthony martial accompany Ibrahimovic, a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain, in attack in front of a midfield including Juan Mata, Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini.

Mata’s inclusion may come as a surprise to some after a rift reportedly formed with Mourinho during their time together at Chelsea.

The Spaniard also appeared displeased when he was substituted back off during the Community Shield against Leicester City last weekend.

For Bournemouth, meanwhile, Jordon Ibe is named in a strong starting line-up which boasts strikers Callum Wilson and Joshua King.

Bournemouth: Boruc, Francis, S.Cook, Smith, Daniels, Surman, Arter, L.Cook, Ibe, King, Wilson.

Manchester United: De Gea, Valencia, Bailly, Blind, Shaw, Fellaini, Herrera, Mata, Rooney, Martial, Ibrahimovic.
