Aston Villa made one change for their key derby with West Brom as Charles N'Zogbia replaced Scott Sinclair.

Tim Sherwood was still searching for his first win as Villa boss after two defeats but was without captain Ron Vlaar, who failed to recover from a calf injury.

Albion, who beat Villa 1-0 earlier in the season, were unchanged following their 1-0 win over Southampton as strikers Saido Berahino and Brown Ideye shrugged off injuries to start.

Aston Villa: Guzan, Lowton, Okore, Clark, Hutton, Cleverley, Westwood, Delph, Agbonlahor, Benteke, N'Zogbia.

Subs: Bacuna, Sinclair, Weimann, Sanchez, Gil, Given, Grealish.

West Brom: Foster, Dawson, McAuley, Lescott, Brunt, Gardner, Yacob, Fletcher, Morrison, Ideye, Berahino.

Subs: Wisdom, Olsson, Baird, Myhill, Pocognoli, Mulumbu, Sessegnon.

Referee: Jonathan Moss (W Yorkshire)
