Arsenal team news: Dani Ceballos ruled out for a month with a hamstring injury
The Spaniard is set to miss the club’s next five fixtures
Arsenal have confirmed that Dani Ceballos has been ruled out until mid-December after suffering an injury to his left hamstring during the club’s victory over Vitoria.
The Spaniard limped off during the Europa League tie and then missed Arsenal’s 2-0 defeat against Leicester three days later prior to the international break.
The midfielder, who joined Arsenal on loan from Real Madrid in the summer, has impressed in patches but struggled to cement a place in Unai Emery’s first-choice starting XI.
Arsenal initially hoped Ceballos would be ready to return in time for their fixture against Southampton, however, he’s now set to miss the club’s next five fixtures.
“Dani Ceballos. Left hamstring. Sustained during the Vitoria SC (a) match on November 6. Aiming to return to full training mid-December,” a statement on the Arsenal website read.

Show all 23Sead Kolasinac is also a doubt for this weekend after straining his hamstring.
“Sead Kolasinac. Left hamstring. Returned from international duty with a tight left hamstring. Being assessed ahead of Saturday’s match,” the statement continued.
The news adds to Emery’s catalogue of concerns, with the club having gone five games without a win and his tenure coming under increasing pressure.
