From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Alexis Sanchez is evidently enjoying some creature comforts as he looks to guide Chile to a first Copa America trophy on home soil.

And clearly the Arsenal forward is enjoying his time at home as he shared an Instagram post captioned “moments of joy at home”. In the video Sanchez lip-synchs and dances along to Spanish language hip-hop.

And he brought out all the classic moves for the video, including the “eyes on you”, “can’t touch this” and a solid 180-degree spin. It may not be as spectacular as his FA Cup Final goal but with lip-syncing skills like this, there could be a place for the Chilean on Ru Paul’s Drag Race if football doesn’t work out.

Sanchez has shown off his musical skills before with a piano performance of John Legend’s ‘All of Me’ but he has rarely shown off the sort of moves previously associated with Per Mertesacker.

Don’t believe us? See the Gunners’ parody of ‘Return of the Mac’ for proof.
