Your support makes all the difference.Roy Hodgson will name his World Cup squad the day after the Premier League season ends, the Football Association has announced.
Hodgson does not have to submit his preliminary squad until May 13, but he has chosen to announce his party for Brazil the day before, on Monday May 12, instead.
The final round of matches in the Barclays Premier League take place on Sunday May 11.
The FA said Hodgson will announce the squad at the headquarters of England sponsor Vauxhall in Luton.
Hodgson is expected to name a 23-man squad, with up to seven standby players for the tournament in South America.
The England boss has to submit his final list of 23 players to FIFA on June 2.
England kick off their World Cup campaign on June 14 against Italy before taking on Uruguay and Costa Rica.
Speaking about the World Cup squad announcement, Club England Managing Director Adrian Bevington said: "We have enjoyed an extremely close relationship with Vauxhall since they became England Team Sponsor three years ago, and this is a fine example of that.
"This will be an important day for Roy and the players ahead of an exciting summer in Brazil. It is always a day of interest to the whole country, and we're glad we can share it with Vauxhall."
