There wasn't much entertainment to be had during England's European Championships qualifier against Switzerland on Tuesday night and there was absolutely none to be had in the commentary box.

ITV's co-commentator Glenn Hoddle, who has replaced Andy Townsend for the channel's coverage of England games, bored so many people that many took to Twitter in a bid to amuse themselves.

Soon enough, the former England manager was trending, as people described just how tedious they found his commentary.
