Petr Cech is on the verge of completing his £11m move to Arsenal and with it creating something of a quandary for Arsene Wenger.

One of David Ospina or Wojciech Szczzeny must make way, with reports so far suggesting that it will be the former who departs.

However the Colombian showed just what a talented stopper Arsenal will be giving up with his performance in last night's Copa America quarter-final with Argentina.

His stand-out moment was a double save from two of the deadliest strikers on the planet.

Using his feet, Ospina denied Sergio Aguero only to see the ball rebound to an on-rushing Lionel Messi. Incredibly, the 26-year-old got to his feet to repel the Barcelona forward's header.

Ospina's heroics and Argentina's profligacy in front of goal saw the match go to penalties.

Luis Muriel blazed Colombia's fourth penalty over the crossbar to hand Argentina the initiative but they were given a reprieve when Lucas Biglia fired his spot kick wide of the target.

The shootout then descended into something of a farce as Juan Zuniga, Marcos Rojo and Jeison Murillo missed the next three penalties before Carlos Tevez calmly placed his penalty past Ospina to send Argentina into the semi-finals.
