Round-Up: Hughton hails Newcastle for spiriting up a late equaliser

Chris Hughton, the Newcastle United manager, admitted their late fightback to earn a point at Bristol City on Saturday showed the spirit they will require in the promotion run-in.

At the bottom, Scunthorpe came from behind to beat fellow strugglers Plymouth 2-1 at Glanford Park, a result which put Crystal Palace, who let slip a two-goal lead in drawing 2-2 at Blackpool, into the bottom three.
