Championship: Who got promoted, relegated and who made the play-offs?
Relive all the action from a nail-biting final day
It’s the final day of the Championship season and before the chaos of the play-offs takes hold next week, there is the small matter of deciding who goes up to the Premier League… and who drops down to League One.
Cardiff City know a win at home to Reading will see them return to the Premier League for the first time since 2014, but their opponents are not totally safe, sitting only two points above the drop zone in 19th.
Fulham will be waiting in the wings knowing they must win to capitalise on any slip-ups, although they are also playing a relegation-threatened side in Birmingham City.
At the other end of the table, there are five teams fighting to avoid the two final relegation places as Burton Albion and Barnsley are away to play-off chasing Preston North End and Derby County respectively. The final team involved are Bolton Wanderers, who are at home to Nottingham Forest.

AS IT STANDS
Five minutes to go until kick-off, so here is our first (of many) as it stands updates:
Promoted
Cardiff
Relegated:
Burton
Bolton
Sunderland
Playoffs
Fulham
Aston Villa
Middlesbrough
Derby
3: No goals as yet. Warnock is prowling the technical area at the Cardiff City stadium. He's after his eighth promotion today. That would make him the out-right record holder. He is currently tied on seven with Dave Bassett, Graham Taylor and Jim Smith.
Birmingham 0-0 Fulham
5: Close! Mitrovic gets on the end of Matt Targett's cross but can't direct it goal-wards
Ipswich Town 1-0 Middlesbrough
8: We have our first goal of the afternoon, as Freddie Sears fires home for Bryan Klug's side
Derby County 0-0 Barnsley
10: It's packed at Pride Park but still goalless. Olsson brings a save out of Walton after a swift counter-attack. Still goalless.
Bolton Wanderers 0-0 Nottingham Forest
12: Ben Brereton goes close for the Reds. From six yards out he fires wide. Bolton have started positively, but it's the visitors who have the best opening so far.
