Louis van Gaal has named an almost full-strength team for the match against Ipswich Town.

Teenage sensation Anthony Martial gets a well earned rest but star men Wayne Rooney, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Juan Mata and David De Gea all start.

Andreas Pereira makes his first competitive start for the club, while it is unclear whether Ashley Young will start left-back or further forward.

Chris Smalling and Daley Blind continue in the centre of defence, with injured Phil Jones on the bench to make up the numbers with the side in the midst of a defensive crisis.
