From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. The Premier League’s top four will face each other in the fifth round of the FA Cup following Sunday’s draw.

Leaders Arsenal host Liverpool, a week after travelling to Anfield in the league, while City – scorer of 110 goals this season so far - host Chelsea - a side who also visit the Etihad a week on Monday in the league. The pair have won five of the last seven Cups between them, with City, under previous manager Roberto Mancini, beating Chelsea at Wembley in last season’s semi-final.

Arsenal last met Liverpool in the competition in the 2007 third round, when two goals from Tomas Rosicky helped Wenger’s side beat the then holders 3-1 at Anfield. The pair also met in the 2001 final at the Millennium Stadium, which Liverpool won 2-1. The pairing with Liverpool adds to a tough run for Wenger’s side, who now face Liverpool twice, Manchester United and Bayern Munich in successive matches next month, before consecutive clashes with Bayern, Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester City in March – the last three of them away from the Emirates.

Holders Wigan travel to Cardiff for a first ever Cup meeting with the Welsh outfit, while Capital One Cup finalists Sunderland host Southampton, whom they beat en route to Wembley in the other domestic Cup and with whom they drew 2-2 in the league earlier this month. Everton manager Roberto Martinez will face former side Swansea at Goodison Park. The winners of the fourth round’s two replays will meet, with Sheffield United or Fulham, who drew 1-1 at Bramall Lane yesterday, hosting either Nottingham Forest or Preston.
