FA Cup fourth-round highlights: United and City progress but Spurs are out

Defending champions Chelsea will host Manchester United in the fifth round of the FA Cup in a repeat of last year’s final.

The draw means just two of the ‘Big Six’ – at most – will progress to the quarter-finals, with Middlesbrough or Newport challenging Pep Guardiola’s quadruple-chasing Manchester City.

AFC Wimbledon, fresh off their thrilling victory over West Ham on Saturday evening, will take on fellow Premier League wreckers Millwall, who controversially defeated Everton.

Bristol City will host either Shrewsbury or Wolves after Nuno Espirito Santo’s side saved their blushes with a last-gasp equaliser to draw 2-2 with the League One side, while Crystal Palace host Doncaster in what promises to be one of the most openly contested FA Cups in recent years.

Watford will travel to either Portsmouth or QPR, while Swansea take on the winner between Brentford and non-league Barnet.

Frank Lampard’s Derby County will take on either Brighton or West Brom.

The fifth round ties will be played between February 15-18.

Complete fifth round draw:

Bristol City v Shrewsbury Town or Wolverhampton Wanderers

AFC Wimbledon v Millwall

Doncaster Rovers v Crystal Palace

Middlesbrough or Newport County v Manchester City

Chelsea v Manchester United

Swansea City v Barnet or Brentford

Portsmouth or Queens Park Rangers v Watford

Brighton & Hove Albion or West Bromwich Albion v Derby County
