From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. Your support makes all the difference.Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has kept the faith in second-choice goalkeeper Willy Caballero for the trip to face Everton.
The Toffees host City in the Capital One Cup semi-final first leg at Goodison Park after watching city rivals Liverpool secure a slim one-goal advantage over Stoke City last night.
34-year-old Caballero has played in every round of the competition so far, conceding in each match.
Fabian Delph starts in the centre of midfield alongside Fernandinho for City while Sergio Aguero, David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne make up a fearsome front three.
Like Pellegrini, Everton boss Roberto Martinez gives reserve shot-stopper Joel Robles a starting place. Romelu Lukaku, the joint-highest goalscorer in the Premier League, starts up front for the hosts while Ross Barkley sits in just behind.
