Your support makes all the difference. It might have been a pre-season 'friendly' but their was nothing pleasant about last night's meeting between Roma and Real Madrid.
With the European giants meeting in Texas, an old feud between Seydou Keita and Pepe reared it's head in front of the stunned crowd at the Cotton Bowl Arena in Dallas.
The acrimony between the duo goes back to when Keita was a Barcelona player and the midfielder accused Pepe of calling him a monkey during an El Clasico meeting.
Clearly yet to forgive the Real Madrid defender for the alleged slur, Keita refused to shake Pepe's hand prior to the game. With Gareth Bale looking on, Keita then threw an open water bottle towards Pepe that appeared to strike the Portuguese defender on the shoulder.
Former Chelsea player Ashley Cole was quick to swoop in to act as mediator whilst Real Madrid duo Sergio Ramos and Xabi Alonso also spoke with Keita.

The match ended 1-0 to Roma thanks to a Francesco Totti goal.
