Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas will try and swap shirts with Mario Balotelli tonight, but will wait until after full time to make his move.

The misfiring striker, who has just two goals this season, caused a stir when these two met at Anfield a couple of weeks ago when he traded shirts with Pepe on his way to the tunnel at half-time.

Liverpool were being thoroughly outplayed and were 3-0 down at the time, with former midfielder Graeme Souness questioning whether he had a "football brain".

Casillas, who will play for a record 143rd time in the Champions League, has said he is keen to swap with the striker but will wait until the 90 minutes has been played, though he didn't see an issue with it.

"You can swap shirts at half-time in Spain and it’s no problem," Casillas told the Daily Mail.

Liverpool are likely to rest a number of first-team players for the match as they prepare to face Chelsea on Saturday.
