Ryan Giggs will make his first appearance since his starring role in Manchester United's 3-0 victory over Olympiakos in the Last-16 second-leg on 18 March for the club against German giants Bayern Munich in the quarter-final first leg at Old Trafford tonight.

The 40-year-old Welsh midfielder joins Alex Buttner in the United starting XI. The Dutchman is tasked with trying to mark his compatriot Arjen Robben , with regular left-back Patrice Evra suspended.
