Liverpool have been allocated just 16,626 tickets for their Champions League final against Real Madrid – less than a quarter of the capacity of the Olympic Stadium in Kiev.

The Reds beat Roma 7-6 on aggregate to reach the final of the competition for the first time in 11 years, but fans will no doubt be left disappointed by the lack of tickets available.

General supporters have meanwhile been allocated 63% of the club’s allocation, meaning tickets will only be made available to just over 10,000 fans.

The rest of the tickets will be taken up by seasonal hospitality members and priority rights holders (25%); match day officials, first team players and club media (11%); and commercial partners of the club (1%).

The most expensive tickets made available to supporters will cost £394 – although a restricted view ‘Category 4’ ticket can be purchased for just £48. No concessionary priced tickets will be made available.

It will be the first time Liverpool have played in a Champions League final since 2007, when they lost 2-1 to AC Milan in Athens.
