Former Inter Milan coach Leonardo has been appointed as general manager of Paris St Germain, the Ligue 1 club said today.

"Leonardo has been named as the club's general manager," Simon Tahar, chairman of the PSG association, told reporters.

Brazilian Leonardo, 41, ended his playing career at AC Milan in 2003. He spent one season at PSG in 1996-97.

State-run Qatar Sports Investments last month bought a 70 per cent stage in PSG.
