Jürgen Klopp press conference LIVE: Champions League final latest as Liverpool manager faces media
Follow the latest from Kiev where the Liverpool and Real Madrid managers will face the media for the final time before Saturday’s Champions League final
Liverpool begin their preparations for the Champions League final after touching down in Ukraine, with 12-time winners Real Madrid standing between them and their first trophy under manager Jürgen Klopp in what could be their most unlikeliest European victories yet.
But despite the European showcase fixture taking centre stage, the build-up to the final has begun in unsavoury scenes though, with a group of Liverpool supporters apparently attacked on Thursday night by a gang of hooligans and a number of flights from the United Kingdom to Kiev cancelled, leaving hundreds without transport to the Ukraine to attend the final.
But on Friday talk about football should return to the fore as both Klopp and Zinedine Zidane, the Real Madrid manager, face the media for the final time before they collide with the Champions League on the line. Follow all the latest news below.

And it's not just the Muslim community who have embraced Salah's success as their own. Salah has become a national hero back home in Egypt that stems from his roots, and in a country that has had its fair share of problems, a reason to unite is certainly one that can offer hope.
How will Liverpool line up against Real Madrid? This is the XI we expect Jurgen Klopp to select...
Just a few minutes until Klopp address the press in Kiev!
Henderson and Van Dijk asked questions first.
The first question goes to Liverpool's captain. How does he plan to replicate the leadership of Gerrard?
"It's not about me filling anybody's shoes. It's about the team. We're going to create our own history and we have already done fantastically well."
And now Van Dijk. Has he taken on a leadership role at the club?
"Off the pitch I like to be very relaxed. But when the game has started I just be myself, and that's trying to help the team win the game. In the position I play I have to be vocal and demand things. That's just me."
Question to Henderson about the differing personalities of the two head coaches.
"I can't really compare because I don't know what Zidane is like. But regarding my manager we feel very privileged he is our manager. We learn a lot from him. He'll be intense on the sideline but we like that as players, that is how we like to play."
Question to VVD: What impact has LFC had on you?
"The club have been so welcoming which helps with settling in. As do the good results. Liverpool is my team and I love playing for the club. Liverpool as a club deserves to be in this competition year in, year out."
There was just a question asked in a foreign language which I didn't understand (only managed a B in GCSE French), so here's a pic of some happy Liverpool lads instead.
Hendo: "We have won this competition quite a few times. It is in the DNA of this club to win trophies. And we are moving in the right direction."
Question to VVD: Is it special to be playing alongside a fellow Dutchman (Wijnaldum)?
"Everyone is looking forward to it, it's special for everyone. We will give everything. And then hopefully enjoy it even more after."
