With the Madrid derby finely balanced heading into the last 15 minutes, Ateltico Madrid winger Arda Turan was very harshly sent off by German referee Felix Brych.

The Turkish midfielder, already on a yellow card, was judged to have left his foot in high on Sergio Ramos - the man who had acted as chief wind-up merchant throughout the game.
