Alexandre Lacazette scored a vital equaliser after Arsenal fell behind after just 11 minutes in their Europa League semi-final tie against Valencia.

The Spanish side had taken the early lead after clumsy defending from a corner allowed the diminutive Rodrigo to head across the face of goal and Mouctar Diakhaby beat Lacazette and Granit Xhaka to turn the ball in at the far post.

However, Arsenal responded after just three minutes thanks to a fine piece of interplay between Mesut Ozil, Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang and Lacazette.

Ozil created the space and found Lacazette on the edge of the centre circle. The Frenchman played through Aubameyang, who after running through on goal, jinked back inside and laid the ball back off to Lacazette to swipe home into an empty net.

Lacazette would go on to add his second and give Arsenal the lead, heading home Xhaka's cross after 26 minutes. Watch Lacazette's equaliser below:
