Officially, Bath will not make a decision on Mike Catt until today but the holders already know they will be without the England full-back when they defend the Pilkington Cup against Wasps in tomorrow's final at Twickenham.

Catt's hamstring injury means inclusion for the promising Richard Butland at outside-half, where Catt had been picked to play, with the lock Pat McCoy replacing Butland on the bench. John Hall, recovering from a shoulder injury incurred in last Saturday's defeat by Sale, said yesterday he would be fit to take his place in the Bath back row for his last game before retirement.

Swansea retain the players who beat Cardiff in the semi- final for tomorrow's Swalec Cup final at Cardiff Arms Park but Pontypridd show two changes from the side who knocked out Llanelli. Crispin Cormack displaces Gavin Jones at full-back and Owen Robins is preferred to Geraint Lewis on the left wing.

PONTYPRIDD (v Swansea, Swalec Cup final, Cardiff Arms Park, tomorrow): C Cormack; D Manley, J Lewis, S Lewis, O Robins; N Jenkins, Paul John; N Bezani (capt), Phil John, A Metcalfe, G Prosser, M Rowley, M Lloyd, D McIntosh, R Collins. Replacements: (from) G Jones, G Lewis, L Jarvis, D Gibbon, M Smith, L Phillips, L Harvey, M Spiller.

SWANSEA: A Clement (capt); A Harris, R Boobyer, D Weatherley, Simon Davies; A Williams, Robert Jones; C Loader, G Jenkins, K Colclough, P Arnold, A Moore, A Reynolds, Stuart Davies, R Appleyard. Replacements: R Llewellyn, M Thomas, R Moriarty, L Griffiths, Robbie Jones, S McIntosh.
