Michael Hartley continues totting up the circuits in the 100km track race at Sutcliffe Park, South London, yesterday. He broke the British 50-

mile record by more than 12 minutes, setting a time of 5 hours 25 minutes. Hilary Walker broke the women's world record for that distance
