US officials met North Korean diplomats yesterday to urge Pyongyang to reverse its decision to withdraw from the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, AP reports from New York. Delegates refused to speak to reporters, but the US team leader said last week that Washington might offer concessions if North Korea signed.
