Kenya: See three of the planet's last remaining white rhinos

These are the last three remaining Northern white rhinos in Africa.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya houses three of the four remaining animals of this subspecies in the world, with the other living in San Diego Zoo Safari Park in the US.

The Northern White Rhinoceros became extinct in the wild back in 2008 thanks to intensified poaching.

The team who look after San Diego's white rhino Nola paid a visit to Ol Pejeta Conservancy in order to begin collaborative efforts.

Randy Rieches, a employee of Ol Pejeta Conservancy, said "this is a species that is clearly right on the very brink of extinction.

"In order to save the species for posterity and hopefully one day grow its numbers, the need for collaboration is paramount."
