Your support makes all the difference.New York (AP) - A Sudanese follower of an Egyptian Sheikh, Omar Abdel-Rahman, pleaded guilty yesterday to masterminding a plot to blow up New York landmarks in a war of terror against the United States. Siddig Ibrahim Siddig Ali pleaded guilty toall counts against him. Siddig Ali, 34, a Sudanese immigrant who lives in Jersey City, was accused of conspiracy to wage a war of urban terrorism; solicitation and conspiracy to murder Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak; the attempted bombings; and shipping a firearm, using and carrying a firearm, and carrying destructive devices for that bombing plot.
The plea comes a week after testimony began in the trial of Abdel-Rahman and 11 followers, including Siddig Ali, on charges of plotting a war of terror against the US.
