Pope condemns African corruption
Yaounde, Cameroun - Comparing Africa to a man left beaten and near death, the Pope attacked the corruption and desperation sapping it and told clergy to stand up against injustices. He also urged better ties with moderate Muslims who share the conviction that it is unacceptable to "kill another person" in the name of faith. The appeals were part of a landmark document on the Vatican's approach to its future in Africa. AP
