Onassis in hospital
NEW YORK - Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, who is suffering from cancer, has been hospitalised, reportedly for internal bleeding. Mrs Onassis is an in-patient at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Centre and is expected to remain there for several days. The hospital would not say what treatment Mrs Onassis, 64, is receiving, but the New York Daily News reported that the former first lady underwent surgery on Friday for internal bleeding, possibly a bleeding ulcer.
