Mosque held
The stand-off between Indian troops and Kashmiri militants at a Srinagar mosque continued into a third day, Tim McGirk reports from New Delhi. Up to 50 armed militants, holding 150 pilgrims, were barricaded inside the domed shrine which contains a revered holy relic: a single hair of to the Prophet Mohamed.
India expelled two Pakistani diplomats and two employees of its mission in New Delhi on spying charges, after four Indian diplomats and embassy staff were expelled from Islamabad.
