Briton dies after falling from building in Dubai

A British man died when he fell from an apartment block in Dubai, the Foreign Office said today.

Ryan Guest's death is being investigated by police and a British woman is being held.

A Foreign Office spokeswoman said: "We can confirm that a British national died in Dubai on 12 July.

"Local police are investigating and we are providing consular assistance.

"Another British national is currently being held by the Dubai authorities so we are providing consular assistance to the families of both British nationals."
