ICRC calls for action to prevent more ethnic cleansing in Bosnia
GENEVA - The normally diplomatic International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) yesterday called for determined action to halt the 'horror' of a new wave of ethnic cleansing by Serbs in Bosnia, Reuter reports.
In an outspoken statement, Cornelio Somarruga, the ICRC chief, told ambassadors to the UN European office that the practice of forcing people from their homes was undermining international law.
