Two gunmen riddled the Israelis' car with 40 bullets in a village near the town of Ramallah. The wounded men, members of the internal security service, Shin Beth, were taken to hospital in Jerusalem. Ezzedin al-Qassam, the armed wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), claimed responsiblity.
