Your support makes all the difference.New York (Reuter) - Steven Spielberg has scaled back his plans to make part of his next film at Auschwitz under an agreement aimed at meeting objections from survivors of the Nazi death camp, officials of the World Jewish Congress said.
A WJC spokesman said the director has agreed to film scenes for Schindler's List just outside the main grounds of the Polish camp. Original plans called for 1,500 extras and crew to work inside the Auschwitz camp and for chimneys to be constructed to replicate crematoria.
