Turkey is reconsidering a planned visit on 2 February to Bosnia by the Turkish Prime Minister, Tansu Ciller, and her Pakistani counterpart, Benazir Bhutto, AFP reports from Ankara. A Foreign Ministry spokesman blamed recent developments 'on the diplomatic front and on the ground'. A Turkish daily claimed the UN Secretary-General had warned Ms Ciller her trip could provoke a massacre.
