Amnesty International accuses Burma's military authorities of conducting a reign of terror against opponents and ethnic minorites, Reuter reports from London. A report out today says that despite the release of 2,000 political prisoners in 18 months, life in Burma was characterised by fear, intimidation and widespread human rights abuses.
