Collor in court
Brazil's impeached former president, Fernando Collor, appeared before the Supreme Court to answer charges of passive corruption, in a four-hour interrogation he called a 'total humiliation', AFP reports from Brasilia. He denied any involvement in the influence-peddling scam directed by his campaign treasurer, which led to his removal from office.
