Your support makes all the difference.Veteran Bollywood actor Dev Anand has died of a heart attack in a London hotel. He was 88.
The flamboyant actor, producer and director was famed for his roles in dozens of fiilms, including Jewel Thief and Guide.
His family said he died last night in a hotel in London, where he had gone for a medical check-up.
His nephew and renowned film director Shekhar Kapur said Anand had been working up to the end and died "on his own terms".
In a posting on Twitter, Kapur said Anand "was working one minute. Sat down and smiled. And was gone the next".
The family plan to cremate his body in London this week.
