Argentine authorities have created a panel to tackle the task of investigating alleged British war crimes in the Falklands war at a time when Buenos Aires wants to improve relations with London, AFP reports from Buenos Aires.

The investigation was ordered last week by President Carlos Menem following reports suggesting that British paratroops shot dead Argentine prisoners of war in the battle of Mount Longdon in June 1982.
