Police in South Carolina say that Michelle Thomas called them just after 11pm on Monday, stating she'd been involved in an altercation with her boyfriend. She claimed that he was drunk and hit her, and that she was attempting to defend herself with a knife. She told police that she swung at him with the knife, then pulled off his prosthetic leg, throwing it into the yard. She then threw a spare leg away, to prevent him from chasing her.
When the police arrived, they found the prosthetic legs in the back garden of the property. They have charged her with criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature after her boyfriend told police that she had attacked him for no reason, and his wounds were consistent with defensive wounds.
