The wife of a former judge in the US has been charged with capital murder in connection with the slayings of a Texas district attorney, his wife and an assistant district attorney.
The overnight arrest of Kim Lene Williams is the latest twist in an investigation that had narrowed on her husband.
A law enforcement official has said authorities are trying to build a case against her husband, Eric Lyle Williams, in the deaths of Kaufman County District Attorney Mike McLelland, his wife, Cynthia, and Assistant DA Mark Hasse.
Mr Williams was arrested on Saturday.
