Turkish troops killed up to 150 Kurdish separatists during a huge operation in eastern Turkey, AP reports from Ankara.

The Interior Minister, Ismet Sezgin, said security forces recovered more than 50 bodies after the operation. He said some bodies were carried away by guerrillas as they fled.
