Ryanair has been reprimanded for misleading customers with low-fare offers.

Two adverts for the airline offered £10 one-way fares to Gothenburg and Dusseldorf, with small print explaining that the offer was subject to availability and excluded fees and charges.

Ryanair said there was no requirement to include specific travel dates, but the Advertising Standards Authority said readers were likely to think the £10 deal was a fixed price.

"Because we considered that consumers would understand '£10 one way' to mean that all [these] flights were available at £10, we concluded that the ads were likely to mislead," it said.
