A woman has been filmed apparently threatening to “kill” staff at a branch of KFC in Greater Manchester because there were no more napkins left.

Launching what appears to be a racist tirade against the fast food outlet’s employees, the woman can be heard on the video shouting: “You f***ing little black b*tch, I’ll kill you.”

The incident is thought to have taken place at a restaurant in Ashton-under-Lyne on Friday, and footage uploaded to YouTube has been viewed more than 10,000 times.

One video appears to show the start of the dispute, with the woman complaining to a male member of staff that she has “paid £40 for a meal and there’s not even a napkin in the box”.

Becoming increasingly angry and addressing other members of staff, she shouts that reasons for there being no napkins are “not my problem” and calls it “bad service”.

Warning: Video contains foul language throughout

After more than five minutes, one member of KFC staff appears to raise her voice back at the woman – at which point the customer starts throwing cardboard food holders at the servers and screaming: “I’ll kill you.”

Another woman who appears to know the customer intervenes at this point and leads her away, while a shocked crowd in the restaurant looks on.

Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, a spokesman for KFC said it was “horrible to see this kind of behaviour towards our team members”.

“We want to ensure they feel safe at all times when they’re at work and have offered them our support while we investigate further.”

The video was uploaded on Friday by YouTube user ASAP 2420, who wrote: “I really don’t know [what was wrong with her] I guess she needed napkins really bad.”

Another user who claimed to be present at the time commented below that it was “one of the best Fridays ever”. “Seen Star Wars. After that witnessed a pretty racist woman go mental because of some napkins.”
