Prince Harry has been cleared to be redeployed to Afghanistan after he completes his training next year, it was reported last night.

The Prince, a British Army captain, served in Afghanistan as a forward air controller for 10 weeks in 2007-08, directing bombers targeting Taliban positions in Helmand province. The Ministry of Defence would not comment on the reports.
