Missing schoolgirl, 10, found after police lead urgent search
Police thank public for sharing appeal as 10-year-old ‘safe and well’
Police have now found a 10-year-old schoolgirl who had been missing since Monday afternoon.
Humberside Police launched an urgent appeal after the schoolgirl was last seen yesterday at 3.20pm in Hessle near Hull, East Yorkshire.
She was described as having long, brown hair and wearing a black coat, bottle green jumper, dark trousers and black shoes.
In a post on social media this morning, Humberside Police said: “Thank you to everybody who has shared our appeal so far” however, they continued to ask “anybody with any information” to get in contact.
But just after 11am on Tuesday morning, the police said that “following extensive lines of enquiry” the schoolgirl “has now been located safe and well. Thank you to everybody who shared our appeal to help locate her”.
